Weekend with Friends

We spent a fun and memorable weekend up north at our favorite spot, the Grand Victorian, with Michael's lifelong friends. All 4 of the guys turned 60 this year and the wives planned a little surprise for them. Jan wrote a song and we fearlessly serenaded the guys in a restaurant. Fun! fun! fun!

Michael, Taylor, and I spent last Saturday in Ohio with Andy and Jeanine and the kids. Thought I'd share some recent photos. For some reason, Katie is missing from the pictures, but she is adorable, as always.

Our California Vacation

Recently we took a vacation to northern California to celebrate 10 wonderful years of marriage. Words cannot describe how beautiful the scenery was. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Jim is now home and on his way to recovery. Thanks to everyone and your prayers!

Update on Jim

Jim is making progress and is now out of ICU. The pneumonia is gone and he is on his way to recovery. Thanks to all of you who have expressed concern and good wishes.

A visit from the grandkids

We had a wonderful time with the grandkids on Saturday when they came to visit. We do miss Adam and Will, though, way out there in Virginia!

Jim has had a slight improvement but he is still in intensive care. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.

Jim had a setback on Saturday and has not improved yet. He is currently in Intensive Care with pneumonia and an infection.

I am happy to report that Jim's surgery yesterday went well. The doctor was able to insert a rod into his upper left leg and screw the broken bones to the rod. He was also able to repair the gash in his pelvic area. The doctor was optimistic and, barring infection, recovery has begun. Thank you for your prayers and kind thoughts. If there are any changes, I will post them here on the blog.

My brother, Jim

As many of you know, my brother, Jim, had a motorcycle accident on Wednesday night. He originally was listed in critical condition but has been updated to a serious condition. The major injuries are to one of his legs. The femur bone is broken in 5 places, some of the breaks being vertical. He also suffered a 12 inch gash through his pelvic area from his leg being pulled out of his hip socket. He is currently in surgery to place a rod in his leg to hold the femur together and also to repair the deep gash in his pelvic area. His is in Owensboro Mercy Hospital. It is a miracle he is alive, but he was wearing a helmet which may have saved him. We are thankful that he does not have any life threatening injuries and your prayers and good wishes are welcome. I will try to update my blog with future information regarding his recovery.

Family Reunion

What a wonderful weekend was had by all of the Leet family! It was a special time to share memories of years gone by. May we all keep in touch and not forget each other.
